Key Programs & Services

Dance Instruction Program: This program offers technical dance training to 60-80 young children, pre-teens, teens, and adults a year. We encourage modest dress, appropriate movement, and clean music.  It equips, models, and teaches character development and promotes the focus on students well being above performance. We desire that our dancers feel loved, encouraged, and safe.

Dance 4 All Program: This program incorporates inclusive, adaptive, and integrated dance classes designed for people in the ID/DD population, including children and adults. Classes are designed to improve physical strength and balance while increasing range of motion, strength, and coordination.

Travel Troupe Outreach Program: This program promotes and models community service to our 20-30 dancers. We serve our community using the vehicle of dance at over 10 nursing/assisted living homes, 8 churches, 6 schools, and 10 businesses in Oshkosh and surrounding communities.

Mentoring Program: This program focuses on the opportunity to train and mentor specifically our 30-50 pre-teen and teen students. We give them leadership positions meant to develop their confidence, teach life skills, and encourage their character development. We are aware of the pressure these students are under and want them to have a safe place to talk and feel supported.

Scholarship Service and Support Program: As a not-for-profit organization, ROG desires for our programs to be affordable in order to provide greater opportunities for ALL students and families. Supporting underserved communities, we work with single-parent families, children in foster care, children of refugees, children with special needs, low-income families, and dancers from all faiths and backgrounds.
