Classes

Little Ones

Little Ones Classes include an introduction to movement that is creative, fun, educational, and musical. Within these classes students engage gross motor skills while dancing to themed music, boys are also encouraged to join. Each class will learn a choreographed dance number for the corresponding recital. (30 mins)

Ballet*

In ballet classes, students are encouraged to practice fine motor skills, posture, balance, flexibility, and combinations/technique of barre, across-the-floor, and center-floor movements. (45- 60 mins)

Lyrical*

Lyrical dance is a combination of ballet and jazz dance that often uses music with lyrics to inspire the movements and emotions of the dancer. It’s like ballet without the rules! (45mins) 

Jazz/Ballet Combo*

In these classes, students take a ballet and a jazz class combined for a discounted rate. Ballet classes incorporate posture, flexibility, barre technique, across-the-floor, and center-floor movements. Jazz classes incorporate a variety of movements including, flexibility, strength and conditioning, and different dance techniques. Each class will learn a choreographed dance number for the corresponding recital. (60-90 mins)

Our teachers determine when a student is ready to advance to the next level.  If you have any questions or concerns please contact Alisa Eaton, director of ROG. Not all students progress technically, artistically, intellectually, emotionally or spiritually at the same rate.
